My name is Tereza and I’m from Wellington, New Zealand. My first overseas trip away was to my parents’ homeland in Croatia in 1997. We had a stopover in Rome before heading back home and I remember being fascinated and vowed that one day I would come back to this breathtaking city.
It was four years later that I found myself working in an Italian restaurant in my town and met a born and bred Roman man named Marco. We eventually booked our tickets, came here together, and 14 years later, here we are!!!
Italy has shown me a different perspective and opened my eyes to a new way of living. The food, people, landscape and history have all enriched me so ‘viva l’Italia’!
Teaching English is a highly rewarding job. Our English learners’ passion and will drive me to be the best I can be.
